Welcome to the Hill Country Montessori School Website. As you consider schools for your child, Come and See HCMS for yourself. Our campus is situated on ten beautiful acres in the Texas Hill Country, about eight miles east of Boerne, on Highway 46. Our six cottage–like classrooms are brimming with Montessori equipment, certified Montessori teachers, and a host of delightful children learning how to learn! Come and see our students working outside in raised gardens, caring for goats, feeding rabbits, and other critters. Observe the students as they work using the Montessori materials, explore new ideas in a Montessori lesson, or enjoy music, art, Spanish, and PE.
Come and see how HCMS fulfills its Vision! Our goal is for HCMS faculty to “contribute to society by helping children develop a love of learning that will result in high academic achievement, self-discipline, self-motivation, and respect for themselves, others, and their environment.” We hope to “free the child’s potential.”
