Hill Country Montessori School is proud and humbled to have had the opportunity to provide a quality Montessori education to Boerne and the Texas Hill Country children since 1982. We are proud of the hard work of our teachers, staff, board members, and volunteers that work tirelessly to help us reach our mission every day. We are humbled by the continued support of those same people, our families, and the members of our community.

To continue to succeed in achieving our goal of fostering a life-long love of learning in our students, we rely on the financial commitment of all our families and the generosity of the surrounding community. Independent schools are not funded by government sources or tax dollars. We function solely on tuition, fees, donation, and grants. Grants, however, have limited availability, high competition, and only make up a small fraction of a school's revenue stream. This means tuition, fees and donations must make up nearly 100% of operating expenses, as well as any desired enhancements.

HCMS operates three yearly fundraising events: Annual Fund, Buckaroo Breakfast, and the Barnes & Noble Book Fair.  Please visit the pages of each of these fundraisers to see how their success allows us to further our mission and our vision.
